Set up your account on the CFA Institute website. You'll need basic personal information and a valid email address.

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited institution
  • OR in final year of bachelor's program
  • International degrees must be equivalent

Work Experience

  • Alternative: 4,000 hours work experience
  • Full-time or part-time combined
  • Any professional field accepted

  • Name must match registration exactly
  • Must be valid on exam day

Combination Pathway
